Jamshedpur Private Tutor Thrashes Minors Over Low Marks

Jamshedpur: A private tutor in the Jugsalai police station area has been accused of assaulting two minor students over low grades. The teacher allegedly lost his temper over the children’s poor exam results, leaving one young girl with a fractured finger and both children covered in bruises.

Teacher Rages Over School Results

The school students of Jugsalai attended private tuition classes conducted by a local teacher. On Tuesday, when the children presented their school exam results to him, the teacher reportedly became enraged by their low marks. According to family members, he began thrashing the children mercilessly with sticks and his hands.

Trauma Unfolds

The incident came to light on Tuesday evening when the children’s aunt arrived to pick them up. Her son, visibly terrified, reportedly pushed the teacher and ran toward her to escape.

Upon reaching home, the family discovered deep welts across the children’s bodies. The severity of the assault became clear when they realized Mayra’s finger had been fractured. The sight of the injured children left the family in deep shock and grief.

Police Launch Manhunt for Absconding Tutor

The family approached the Jugsalai Police Station and filed a written complaint against the teacher. Recognizing the gravity of the case, the police conducted a medical examination and recorded the children’s statements.

“We have registered the case, and the children have undergone medical checks. The accused teacher is currently absconding, and our teams are conducting raids to arrest him,” a police official stated.

Community Demands Strict Action

The children are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital for their injuries and psychological trauma. Local residents and parents have appealed to the district administration to take the strictest possible action against the tutor to prevent such violent incidents in the future.
