Jamshedpur, June 2: An autorickshaw coming from Odisha towards Baharagora was hit by a truck on NH 49 near the Reliance Petrol Pump at Bela Chowk in Baharagora police station area of East Singhbhum district. The front portion of the autorickshaw was completely damaged. The auto driver and two others were seriously injured as a result of the impact.
The truck driver managed to escape with the vehicle after the accident. BJP leader Sanjay Prahraj who was passing by immediately called locals and with their help managed to extricate the three injured trapped in the autorickshaw and summoned a 108 ambulance and sent them to the Community Health centre in Baharagora. According to information the people in the autorickshaw were coming from Odisha.
