Jamshedpur, June 2: The Sitaramdera police have recovered the body of a 35-year-old man from the waiting hall of the bus stand. The bus stand is situated in the Sitaramdera police station command area. The people who noticed the dead body on Thursday, informed the Sitaramdera police who reached the bus stand on receipt of information and sent the body for postmortem to MGM College.
People told the police that the man had been lying in the corner of the bus stand’s waiting hall since several days but on Thursday, they observed that the he was neither moving nor breathing. Bus passengers in the waiting hall were also feeling uneasy because of the dead body. It was then that they informed the police. Police said that the body had not been identified. They also stated that if none claimed the body, it would be kept for three days after the autopsy and then the last rites would be performed by the police.
