Jamshedpur, May 24: An 18 year-old girl, identified as Saloni Kumari, attempted suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in her house at Road No 5, Sankosai, under Olidih police station area on Tuesday. She was taken to MGM Hospital where doctors referred her to Bramhanand Hospital, sources said.
Sources said Saloni had an altercation with a family member after which she attempted to end her life. Cops are investigating the case to find out the exact cause of the incident, sources said.
