Jamshedpur, May 24: A delegation of BJP leaders met SSP Dr M Tamil Vanan on Tuesday to demand action against the medical students who allegedly assaulted and blinded Roshan Rajak a resident of Dimna Road. The party leaders said Roshan was beaten up by a group of students on 9th May last. The assailants attacked Roshan with a beer bottle and damaged his eyesight permanently. Roshan has lost vision in his left eye completely. He had gone to Kolkata and returned home. So far Roshan’s family has spent Rs 1 lakh on his treatment. Now they are planning to take Roshan to Chennai for better treatment, said the BJP leaders.
BJP leaders said they would go on agitation in case police fails to take action against the culprits. They said Roshan has become jobless after losing his eyesight partially.
