Jamshedpur, April 14: Hill Top School organised the graduation ceremony for the 36th ICSE batch (Class 10) on Wednesday, April 13 in the school premises. Chief Guest for the occasion was Rajiv Misra, Professor, Operations Management Area, XLRI, Jamshedpur.
The theme of the programme was ‘An Odyssey Called LIFE’
The highlight of the evening was solemn procession of graduating students.
69 students were awarded as High Achievers of ICSE 2021.
Solo song ‘The Journey’ by Koyel Das of Class 10 mesmerized the audience.
Poetic Rendition ‘A Sailor’s Odyssey’ by the Tethers inspired all to brave the choppy sea of life.
This was followed by Showers of Blessings — A hymn / chorus by Class 10.
School Principal Puneeta Chouhan in her address emphasized on the significance of self-development to make life more fulfilling.
Poushali Patra scored 98.8 % in the ICSE exam 2021 followed by Akshansh Kumar 98.6%, Meghna Srivastava 98.4%, Rommit Dutta 98.4%, Aastha 98% and Shaibya Raj 98% were some of the star winners.
Chief Guest, Rajiv Misra stressed on the significance of true learning. He offered various tips to students including hard work.
Special Awards for High Achievers of Class 10 including the coveted Principal’s Award were handed over to the deserving candidate.
Principal’s Award to best all rounder was bagged by Sulagna Basack. First runner up was Shreya Kumari Singh and second runner up was Joydeep Biswas.
Sulagna Basack was the star of the evening as she received best in academics award for scoring 95.83 %. Sourish Ghosh scored 92.20 % to win the second in academics award.
Outstanding Sportsperson Award went to Animesh Kumar Singh and Creative Achievement Award was again bagged by Sulagna Basack.
