Jamshedpur: A Bolero carrying stolen cows overturned on Marine Drive under Kadma police station early Tuesday morning, exposing a major cattle theft attempt. Hindu organization members, who had been following the vehicle, managed to apprehend two youths fleeing from the overturned car. Upon inspection, five cows were recovered from the vehicle.

According to locals, the thieves were transporting the cattle from various parts of the city to Odisha. The Bolero was being closely chased when the driver reportedly tried to run over the chasers, lost control and flipped the vehicle due to high speed.

Members of the Hindu organization immediately informed the police, who arrived on the scene, arrested the two suspects and seized the vehicle. This incident has raised concerns about the growing menace of organized cattle theft in the city, allegedly carried out using modified high-end vehicles under the nose of local authorities.

Residents demanded stricter police action, warning that if such incidents persist, Hindu groups may initiate a protest movement against the administration.
