Jamshedpur: Steel City Classic Championship set to showcase strength and fitness

Jamshedpur: The 1st Steel City Classic Open Bodybuilding and Powerlifting Championship 2025 is set to take place at JRD Tata Sports Complex, organized by Jharkhand Body Building and Fitness Association (JBBFA) and Lifestyle Fitness Gym. The three-day event will witness around 200-250 participants from across Jharkhand competing in various categories.

The championship will feature Powerlifting, Deadlift and Bench Press competitions on March 21 and 22, followed by Bodybuilding, Men’s and Women’s Physique and Denim Fitness Model contests on March 23. Winners in each category will receive medals, gift hampers and certificates, while the “Champion of Champions” title holders will be awarded a sports cycle, Rs 5001 cash, a trophy and a certificate.

JBBFA President L. K. Singh, General Secretary Manik Mohanty, Treasurer A. K. Singh, Deputy Secretary Javed Jamal, Lifestyle Fitness Gym Director Sudeshna Roy and Fit Expo Ambassador and JBBFA Organization Secretary Sanjeev Mahto addressed the event.

“This championship is a great platform for fitness enthusiasts to showcase their strength and dedication,” said Mahto. The event promises to celebrate the spirit of fitness and competitive sportsmanship in Jharkhand.
