Jamshedpur: Statue of St Ignatius of Loyola installed at Loyola School Telco, Children’s Park inaugurated

Jamshedpur, March 4: The statue of St Ignatius of Loyola was installed and the Children’s Park inaugurated at Loyola School, Telco jointly by Principal Charanjeet Ohson and Administrator Fr Gerry. The Park and the statue were blessed by special guest Fr Charles Pereira SJ, the former President of Jamshedpur Jesuit Province. The statue of St Ignatius was donated by Vivek Jha of the 1996 batch of Loyola School, Bistupur.

The newly dedicated Children’s Park has various play options like Square Climber, Merry-Go round swings, heavy duty slider, Dabble Swing, Circular Swing, and Multi swing bridge type slider made of long lasting stainless steel.

The school administration established this Children’s Park keeping in mind the overall development of the students while boosting self-confidence and self-esteem as they mastered challenging playground structures. It will also give the growing children a sense of control. The play area will motivate children towards good physical health for a better learning process.

School Principal Charanjeet Ohson, Administrator Fr. Gerry, Pre- Primary Moderator Colleen Xavier, Junior School Coordinator Zeenat Maria and the teachers were presentduring the twin inaugurations.
