Jamshedpur SSP reviews pending cases, outlines strategy against organized crime

Jamshedpur, Dec 14: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Jamshedpur held an  review meeting with all Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs). The main focus of the meeting was to review pending cases of rape and other crimes and strategize actions against organized criminal gangs and land mafias.

The SSP expressed serious concerns over the delay in addressing cases of rape, stressing the need for swift action to restore public trust. He emphasized that unresolved cases create fear and insecurity, which the police must work to eliminate.

The meeting also saw a special focus on tackling organized criminal gangs and land mafias, with the SSP instructing DSPs to identify active criminals in their jurisdictions and initiate legal action. He made it clear that negligence in handling such crimes would not be tolerated.

Further, the SSP urged for increased monitoring and a stronger information-sharing network with the community to keep a closer watch on criminal activities. The officers were urged to prioritize resolving pending cases and address public grievances effectively.

DSPs shared updates on actions taken in their respective areas and outlined plans for future operations. The SSP reiterated the importance of teamwork in ensuring law and order, vowing that efforts would continue to combat organized crime and enhance public security.
