Jamshedpur, Jan 25: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar paid surprise inspection visits to Chakulia, Barsole, Shyamsunderpur and Baharagora police stations on Wednesday.
He inspected registers and various records and directed the officers-in-charge to expedite disposal of pending cases and ensure arresting of absconders.
He inspected the security arrangements and directed the officers-in-charge to step up night patrol. He said close vigil should be kept on thieves and other criminals.
