Jamshedpur siblings make short film on voter awareness

Jamshedpur: Three siblings of Jamshedpur have made a short film for promoting voter awareness. The film entitled ‘The Price of a Vote,’ has been shot on a mobile phone has been widely shared on social media and is attracting prise for presentation and performances. The film stars Chirag Srivastava from Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Class VIII) in the role of the grandfather, with Ruchika Narayan from Hilltop School, Telco (Class II), and Raghav Srivastava from Candy Flower School (Class V) portraying the grandchildren. The storyline, conceived entirely by the children themselves, revolves around the grandchildren enlightening their grandfather about the parallel importance of every rupee saved and every vote cast.

In the short two-minute film, the children effectively convey the message of voting by drawing a parallel to the practice of saving money. Their convincing portrayals have resonated with audiences, earning acclaim for the film’s creativity and relevance.

With their initiative, these young filmmakers have made a significant contribution to encouraging civic engagement and emphasizing the value of each vote in the democratic process.
