Jamshedpur: In a concerted effort led by Potka Assembly constituency MLA Sanjeev Sardar, the distribution of free drinking water from a 12,000-liter tanker provided by JUSCO has commenced in Posto Nagar under Bagbera Colony Panchayat.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Panchayat representatives and local social workers.
Sunil Gupta, a member of the Panchayat Samiti, revealed that this initiative extended across 14 panchayats including Bagbera, Karandih, Kitadih, Harharguttu, and Ghaghidih. He affirmed the commitment to prioritize providing drinking water to identified areas to preempt water scarcity issues.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including Sunil Gupta, Santosh Thakur, Shail Devi, Bahamuni Hembram, and others, emphasizing the collective effort to address the water needs of rural communities in Bagbera.
