Jamshedpur, October 19: Private schools in city and outskirts were closed for Durga Puja vacations on Thursday.
Holiday for puja was declared in schools from Friday. The holiday has been announced simultaneously in all ICSE and CBSE schools.
Ashu Tiwari, Principal of Motilal Nehru Public School, said that the holiday in schools will remain till October 30. Schools will reopen on October 31 and all activities will resume as before. Before this, school offices will open from October 25, where all non-academic activities will be conducted normally.
