Jamshedpur: SCCI in semi final of Advocates Day Cricket Tournament

Jamshedpur, Dec 17: Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) team has made it to the semi-finals of the Advocates Day Cricket Tournament organized by Jamshedpur Bar Association at the Co-operative College ground by winning both their matches played on Sunday, December 18.

 Total nine teams are participating in the tournament, said Mukesh Mittal, Vice President of the Chamber.

He informed that the players have been selected on the basis of their performance in the Chamber Premier League.

Pritam Jain, Manish Jain, Bhupendra Yadav, Rahul Sharma, Nishant Sanghi, Lala Bhadani, Navdeep Singh, Ankur Modi, Ramesh Agarwal, Manoj Goyal, Gaurav Agarwal, Manish Saraogi, Pankaj Sanghi, Praveen Agarwal and Vikas Sharma are playing for Chamber team.

In the first match played on Saturday, December 17, Singhbhum Chamber team batting first scored 188 runs in 8 overs against Advocates’ Raman Ojha XI and won the match by 134 runs, in which Bhupendra Yadav scored 102 runs. .

The second match was played between Singhbhum Chamber team and Advocates’ Rajesh Ranjan XI, in which Chamber scored 117 runs and won the match by 81 runs. In this match too, Bhupendra Yadav contributed maximum 88 runs.

Chamber Vice President Mukesh Mittal motivated the players.  Also present were Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia, Secretary, Public Relations and Welfare Bharat Makani along with Vice President Nitesh Dhoot, CA Vivek Chaudhary, Vishwanath Sharma, Anil Ringsia, Umesh Khirwal etc.
