Jamshedpur, Dec 13: A delegation of functionaries from Sakchi Gurudwara met the five member election committee of Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) on Tuesday and handed over a memorandum to it demanding that the total number of votes of Sakchi Gurudwara be raised to 20.
The main Sevadar of Sakchi Gurudwara Nishan Singh said Sakchi Gurudwara had a large area and it covered Old and New Kashidih, Odl and New Baradwari and Sakchi market area. The various Sangats of these areas are associated directly with the Sakchi Gurudwara which is equivalent to the Sangats of five Gurudwaras, he said, adding that the number of voters be increased to 20.
