Jamshedpur, Dec 13: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has sought applications from eligible citizens for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Phase 3. Housing units are to be constructed in Birsanagar under this scheme. A total of 9592 housing units would be built across 32 blocks on G+8 model. The construction of 7372 houses has been started so far. In the first and second phase, 3836 and 834 beneficiaries have been allotted houses respectively. Those who have not submitted their applications have been given permission to do so once again till further orders, said JNAC officials.
