Jamshedpur RJD leader Ambika Banerjee passes away

Jamshedpur, Sept. 9: District RJD president, Ambika Banerjee died at Tata Main Hospital ( TMH) on Wednesday afternoon. He was 50 year old and was suffering from corona. He was rushed to the hospital on September 4 when he faced difficulties in breathing. He was shifted to CCU of TMH when his condition deteriorated. He breathed his last today.

Banerjee was close to RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family. He has been serving as the RJD district president for the past 15 years.

Apart from politics, he was also a socially very active person. Banerjee was also active as senior vice president of Jamshedpur Durga Puja Kendriya Samiti and member of Central Peace Committee.  

Jamshedpur Durga Puja Kendriya Samiti and Shubham Sinha, district president of Yuva RJD expressed condolence over the sad demise of the vice president.
