Jamshedpur restaurants woo cricket enthusiasts to cash in on IPL craze

Jamshedpur, April 11: In order to cash in on the popularity of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which began on Saturday, April 9, restaurants and hotels in the city have put up giant screens.

Restaurants across the city have put up projector screens and extra LCD screens to create a stadium-like aura where guests can savor every moment of the match on the big screen. While many establishments are providing with the regular offer of giant screens, a few have also come up with innovative menus.

Raja Singh, owner of Wave International resort on NH-33 says, “We are offering special screenings by the poolside while the afternoon matches will be screened at The Bar.

From the quarter-final, we will have a special menu.” Also, the tournament is likely to generate extra interest among spectators this year as Dhoni will be captaining Pune for the first time with new squad after Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have been suspended for two years. Jamshedpur is all set to give new highest to the IPL events. So get ready to witness the IPL Matches in the largest projection screen in town along with great thirst quenching offers.
