Jamshedpur, April 11: Narbheram Hansraj English School hosted the �ASISC � Zonal Drawing and Painting Competition� at the school campus on Saturday.
Students from 23 city schools including the hosts Narbheram Hansraj English School, JH Tarapore School, ADLS Sunshine School, Andhra Association English School, Kerala Samajam Model School, Carmel Junior College, Kerala Public School (Kadma), RVS Academy, Kerala Public School (Mango), Mount View School, Hill Top School, SriKrishna Public School, DBMS English School, Gulmohur School, Little Flower School, Sacred Heart Convent School, Vig English School, DAV (Patelnagar), Loyola School, Tagore Academy, Motilal Nehru Public School, Dayanand Public School and Church School.
The school principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury welcomed the participating schools and declared the topic. The event was held in two categories � junior and senior.
The time allotted was two hours. The topic for the senior category was ��Water Scarcity by 2025� and the topic for the junior category was � �Swacch Bharat Abhiyan by 2019�.
The judges for the contest were Anup Kumar Sinha (diploma in painting from BSP, Kolkata, and �Chitra Visharad� from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh) and Subodh Kumar Pandey (post-graduate diploma in (Fine Arts) from R.B. University, Kolkata).
