Jamshedpur: Rani Amma’s annual Urs Mubarak

Jamshedpur, May 31:  The Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Zohra Bibi who was fondly referred to as Rani Amma (Hazrat Chuna Shah Baba’s Ahalia)  commenced on Wednesday at 7:30 am with recitation of the Qurankhawani by the students of Quran Academy on Old Purulia Road while those from the Zia Madrasa Darul Kirat in Azadnagar, Mango recited the Quran Pak.

Ahle Sunnat Hazrat Allama Maulana Hafizuddin Khateeb of Bistupur Masjid, Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Izhar Ahmed Khateeb and Imam of Bistupur Jama Masjid recited Fatiha, during which  Secretary of Chuna Shah Baba Dargah Committee Haji SM Qutubuddin, President Haji Abdul Latif, Gaddi Nashi Taj of Dargah Ahmed, Abdul Wahab, Ajibul Ansari, Sajid and other members of the Dargah Committee were present. Devotees continued to stream in at the Dargah throughout the day and they offered chadars at the tombs of Chuna Shah Baba and Rani Amma.
