Jamshedpur: PS watchman killed in car-hit at Matihana Chowk

Jamshedpur, May 24: In a tragic incident, an unidentified vehicle struck and killed Manik Patar (48 years), a watchman at the police station. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning at Matihana Chowk near the highway connecting to Chakulia in the Baharagora police station area of East Singhbhum district. Manik Patar succumbed to a fatal head injury at the scene. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the location and took custody of the body, subsequently transporting it to the police station. The authorities have initiated an investigation into the case. A crowd of concerned villagers gathered at the accident site. According to reports, Manik Patar, the watchman at the police station, was walking home when an unidentified vehicle struck him at high speed.
