Jamshedpur police to attach Mukhe’s property as court gives no relief

Jamshedpur, March 3: The court of Principal District and Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Mishra of Jamshedpur Civil Court here on Friday dismissed the revision petition of former CGPC Pradhan Gurmukh Singh Mukhe seeking stay on attachment orders against him in a case of rape and unnatural sex lodged by Kadma police.

The court termed the police action as correct and refused to entertain the revision petition against the attachment order of the lower court. The revision petition was filed by Kripal Singh, brother of Gurmukh Singh. Kripal had claimed that the police were planning to attach his house which belonged to his mother. He also said that Mukhe had been ousted from family and its property on 13th March 2015. Mukhe is at large after an FIR was lodged against him on 5th November 2022. An arrest warrant and proclamation orders were issued against him by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Court.
