Jamshedpur, Oct 24: The Jamshedpur police made significant progress by solving two separate cases within a mere 24 hours, resulting in the arrest of two suspects who were subsequently sent to jail.
In the first case, Raja Singh alias Tarini Singh (20) from Mango was apprehended during a routine patrol. He was found in possession of 19 packets of brown sugar, along with ₹5,000 in cash and a bike. This operation was led by Jamshedpur City SP, who confirmed the details of the arrest.
The second case involved the discovery of an unidentified body buried in a pit within the Mango Daiguttu Forest on the night of October 22. In response, a special investigative team was formed under the supervision of the SP, led by Jamshedpur DSP Chief-1. Following swift action, the team identified the victim as Futeh Azam alias Fartaz from Kapali Gausnagar. The accused, arrested from his residence in Daiguttu, confessed that the murder stemmed from a previous dispute over money lending. The accused has been remanded to jail as investigations continue.
