Jamshedpur, March 24: On Sunday, SSP Kishore Kaushal led a flag march on motorcycles through sensitive areas, urging residents to celebrate Holi peacefully and harmoniously.
He underlined zero-tolerance policy towards perpetrators of unruly behaviour while making it clear that trouble makers would be taken to task and face strict consequences.
Police presence has been intensified across the city, with personnel deployed extensively, including in plain clothes.
Additionally, with the Model Code of Conduct in effect, citizens were reminded to adhere to its guidelines. The police force, covering areas such as Mango Daiguttu, conducted extensive foot patrolling to tighten security measures.
The district police affirmed their readiness to handle any incidents and urged the public to promptly report any disturbances to law enforcement authorities.
