Jamshedpur: A minor girl of 16 years has been a victim of rape by her father. They are residents of Belur in West Bengal. The father had been physically torturing and raping his daughter for months. Unable to take her father�s animalistic behavior any more, she reported the matter to Belur police.
The Belur police filed a case against the victim�s father and started proceedings in the course of which they handed the case to the Howrah Female Police Station.
In the mean time, the girl�s father guessed that the police would be hot on his heels and left home. He took shelter in Jamshedpur and took shelter in a house at Ramnagar under Kadma PS.
Meanwhile Howrah Women�s Police interrogated the minor girl, a victim of repeated rape by her father and started investigation to nab the culprit. In the course of investigation the police traced the father to his hiding place at Kadma Ramjanam Nagar.
After confirmation of the address, a police team from West Bengal arrived in the city and with the help of the Kadma police, arrested the accused from a house on Mohan Path of Ramjanam Nagar. After complying with formalities at Kadma police station, the West Bengal police took away the accused with them.
