Jamshedpur PDS dealers demand more commission

Jamshedpur, April 5: A delegation of members of Fair Price Shop Dealers Association met the Special Rationing Officer cum District Supply Officer of East Singhbhum on Tuesday and gave him a memorandum, demanding measures to resolve their various issues.

The state secretary of the outfit Mohan Sao Paras and working committee member Pramod Gupta said the dependents of public distribution system (PDS) dealers should be given benefits on compassionate grounds in the event of their death. They further demanded hike in commission from Rs 1 to Rs 5 or a gross sum of Rs 30,000 to each dealer. They also sought removal of faults in e-POS machines.
