Jamshedpur, Apr 1: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato who was among the nine top MPs (in the seventh position) to ask maximum number of questions during the Lok Sabha question session and was also among the leading in utilising money for development work will be adjudged excellence category award.
Jamshedpur MP is also having a cent percent attendance in the Parliament.
Bidyut Baran Mahato raised 261 questions is in the seventh position jointly with Madhya Pradesh BJP MP Sudhir Gupta. This is the second tenure of Bidyut Baran Mahato as the MP.
The MP has not only raised important issues concerning Jamshepdpur Parliamentary constituency but has also resolved some crucial issues like sanction of elevated corridor between Pardih and Dimna Chowk along NH-33 and hosting of various sports competition which provided opportunity for talents to showcase their skills.
Significantly, Bidyut Mahato had been the Baharagora MLA and had tried to solve local issues and this is the reason masses of Baharagora still hold Bidyut Baran Mahato in high esteem.
