Man shot in broad daylight in Jamshedpur’s Dimna Basti

Jamshedpur, March 30: In a shocking incident, a 37-year-old man, identified as Vikram Singh, was injured after being shot by unidentified assailants in Dimna Basti under Ulidih police station limits of Mango on Monday.
According to reports, the victim was standing near his residence when three armed miscreants suddenly arrived and opened fire at him. A brief scuffle reportedly took place between the attackers and the victim, during which the bullet struck his hand, leaving him injured.
Following the incident, Singh was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. The attackers fled the scene soon after the firing.
Police reached the spot upon receiving information and have launched an investigation into the matter. A spent cartridge has also been recovered from the scene. The incident has triggered panic among local residents.
