Fire damage goods at Pardih Kali Mandir

Jamshedpur, Apr 1: Lakhs of goods were damaged in a fire at the backside of the Pardih Kali Mandir which is a centre of religious attraction for devotees. 
Acting on information, three fire brigades, two tankers and water from the boring pump were used to douse the flames which started at around noon and after lot of efforts was doused at around 5 pm. 
The backside of the temple has four pedigree dogs which was rescued by the temple members however, other articles like hays kept for cows, refrigerator, cooler, scooty, and woods were charred in the fire. 
Later on JCB was used to break the wall and throw the haystacks onto the road to prevent spread of fire. Police force was deployed to prevent any untoward incident. Mahant of the temple, Vidyanand Saraswati is in Haridwar but has sent his disciple Indranand Saraswati to Jamshedpur from Haridwar.
