Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur East MLA, Saryu Roy, responded swiftly to resident complaints regarding cleanliness issues in areas like Laxminagar, Jhagrubagan, and Bajrangi Bagan. Roy conducted an on-site assessment and observed significant shortcomings in sanitation, including clogged drains and accumulated garbage. Taking decisive action, Roy communicated with the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the JNAC, stressing the urgency of addressing cleanliness concerns. He warned against complacency and set a one-week deadline for noticeable improvements. Roy asserted that if the situation did not improve within the stipulated timeframe, garbage would be relocated to the main gate of Jamshedpur Access. In a bid to enhance cleanliness standards, Roy announced daily morning reviews of sanitation conditions in various areas. He encouraged residents to report cleanliness issues promptly to his office, assuring swift intervention. Roy emphasized a firm stance against negligence in cleanliness practices, reaffirming his commitment to ensuring a hygienic environment for all residents. (w/nkm)
