Jamshedpur: Minor student drugged, raped, accused nabbed

Jamshedpur, September 5: A case of rape of a 16-year-old girl resident of Baridih after giving her a cold drink mixed with intoxicants has come to light.

Mahila police station has arrested the accused Subham Kumar, resident of Sundernagar. Regarding this, the victim’s family had lodged an FIR against Subham in the women’s police station. The incident is of  August 29.

The victim is a student of class 11th. She told the police that she did not go to school on August 29 and Subham took her to a hotel in Mango where he gave him cold drink mixed with intoxicants. While being drunk, Subham raped her. Here, after getting the victim’s medical done, the police recorded her statement in the court and sent the accused to jail.
