Jamshedpur, March 1: A Patamada resident, Kokil Karmakar, has two doctors of MGM Hospital of showing medical negligence leading to the wrong treatment of his wif, sources said.
In a written complant to the Superintendent of MGM Hospital, Karmakar alleged that the doctors had performed wrong surgery of his pregnant wife who gave birth to twins recently. After surgery, the woman developed some complications related to urinary tract. When Karmakar complained to the doctors, they performed three more surgeries on his wife within a month. His wife’s condition further deteriorated. Now the doctors are reportedly advising Karmakar to take his wife to some other hospital. They also allegedly threatened Karmakar of dire consequences in case he chose to complain against them, sources said.
The version of the accused doctors could not be obtained.
