Jamshedpur :With political temperature soaring up in the city, parties are chalking on strategies to showcase impressive numbers in their rallies and meetings during the campaigning.
With severe heat wave sweeping the
city, the parties are now planning to add glamour quotient to woo voters. Mobilising voters and roping in national
leaders to strengthen partys base firmly to face any challenges in the future
political developments are the priorities of both the national parties.
While the BJP is gearing up to invite glamorous Hema Malini and Smriti Irani, Congress Party has sent invitation for Bollywood actors turned politician, Shatrughan Sinha and Nagma for the campaign.
The parties have already sent lists of star campaigners for election rallies to their state units for a suitable date.
We have asked for Hema Malini, Smriti Irani in our wish list, said BJP MP representative Sanjeev Kumar, adding they would suggest a few more names in the coming days. He informed that a rally of senior leader Nitin Gadkari has been finalized on May 7 while others are being discussed.
Meanwhile the other political parties like Jharkhand Mukti Morcha are preparing to counter the cinema glamour by relying on their senior political leaders in their campaign.
Shibu Soren is a charismatic leader of our State. He will campaign here to instill confidence among party workers and voters. We have full faith on his leadership. People trust him for his honest and dedication. He will attract voters like always, said a senior functionary of JMM.
JMM, a regional party, is particularly banking on national leaders of Mahagathbandan as well as party patriarch Shibu Soren to help its candidate Champai Soren.
Partys district president Ramdas Soren informed that as per the agreement of Mahagathbandan even leaders of Congress Party will also campaign for our candidate. We have written to party for sending Shatrughan Sinha and Nagma for the campaign of JMM candidate, informed Soren. He said that the party has also demanded Congress president Rahul Gandhi to campaign for the candidate.
“The presence of a star at a public meeting inevitably draws crowds. Someone like Hema ji can guarantee massive crowds, especially women, in rural areas. Hence, most of the parties rope in stars to attract more and more people, said an election analyst.
