Jamshedpur, August 28: Mangotia Construction Private Limited has been awarded the contract for construction of the road from Khasmahal Chowk in the Jugsalai assembly constituency to Govindpur railway gate, passing through Parsudih, Shankarpur, Sarjamda, Barigora, Rahargora, and Gadra. The Rs 18.41 crore project was approved as an outcome to the persistent efforts of MLA Mangal Kalindi.
Speaking to the media Mangal Kalindi stated that the road construction had been a long-standing goal, with technical issues resolved following administrative approval. The road, originally built 11 years ago during the JMM tenure, had deteriorated over the years. Despite delays due to contractor issues, the project was set to commence soon.
Kalindi emphasized that his efforts were focused on public interest, not on taking credit. The road’s construction was expected to commence before the Lok Sabha elections but due to technical and administrative hassles, it was delayed. Kalindi said that the construction of the Khasmahal-Govindpur Road would address a long-standing demand of the local people.
