Jamshedpur, Feb 5: A recent incident near the bus stand under the Sitaramdera police station has unfolded a complex web of allegations, as Taklu Lohar fell victim to a fatal shooting. Initially, an FIR was filed against unknown persons based on the statement of Taklu Lohar’s friend, Manas. However, family members of the deceased have accused JMM leaders, Baban Rai and Dubraj Nag, among others, of being involved in the murder.

According to sources, Masuk Manish was allegedly paid Rs 5 lakh for orchestrating the murder of Taklu. Reportedly, a prominent figure in the city provided the funds to Masuk Manish, who, in turn, assigned the task of the murder to Sahil Yadav alias Golu and Kandi. The day of the incident saw a collective effort as they performed what is described as a “Reiki” ritual on Taklu. Sahil fired the initial shot, followed by Kandi opening fire, leading to a hasty escape from the scene by all involved.

The crime unfolded on Thursday evening when assailants on a motorcycle shot Taklu Lohar, who was in the process of fixing a punctured car near the bus stand. The criminals discharged seven rounds, and during the incident, one perpetrator was apprehended by Taklu’s associate, Manas, who sustained injuries to his right hand from the gunfire. Taklu was rushed from MGM to TMH for medical attention, where he was declared dead.

The unfolding details suggest a sinister plot behind the murder, and investigations are underway to ascertain the full extent of the involvement of the accused individuals and the alleged role of JMM leaders in this unfortunate incident.
