Jamshedpur: The first Inter-Company Volleyball Tournament is being held at the JRD Sports Complex from November 28 to 30. The event was graced by Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari, Chief Sports, Tata Steel and Sanjay Kumar Singh, Vice President of Tata Workers Union on Thursday.
In the first match, Tata Steel team triumphed over the Titan Hosur Bangalore team, winning in straight sets 25/13, 25/10. The second match featured Tata Motors Jamshedpur against Tata Steel Gamharia, with Tata Steel Gamharia emerging victorious with a 2-1 win, the score being 25/19, 19/25, 15/8.
The third match saw Tata Motors Pune defeat TSUISL in two straight sets, 25/18, 25/13.
In the final league match of the day, Tata Steel beat Tata Steel Gamharia 2-0, with scores of 25/15, 25/17.
A total of seven teams are participating in the tournament, with the final match scheduled for November 30.
