Jamshedpur, Feb 19: Excise officials here arrested one person and confiscated a consignment of illicit liquor being carried in an auto-rickshaw near Dobo-Domuhani bridge under Soari police station area on Saturday. The accused was identified as Rajkumar Bhagat, resident of Parsudih. The excise team seized 19 boxes containing 171 litres of Goa Kick Whiskey. They also seized the vehicle used in the offence. The officials said the Assistant Excise Commissioner had got a tip-off about the accused carrying illicit liquor through the Dobo-Domuhani bridge. A patrol team of excise department stopped the three-wheeler in the evening and arrested the accused.
