Jamshedpur, Dec 9: A three day module training on non-communicable diseases (NCD) started at the District Civil Surgeon office auditorium on Friday. It was chaired by Civil Surgeon Dr Sahir Pal. Various community health officers and staff nurses are attending the training.
Dr Pal directed the participants to provide all essential and basic healthcare facilities to patients visiting the health and wellness centres and also asked them to establish coordination with Sahiyas at village level. He said this would ensure that the benefits of various public welfare schemes reach the last beneficiary.
Trainer Dr Kundan Kumar gave training on various aspects of treating diabetes, hypertension and other NCDs.
