Jamshedpur, Dec 12: Gulmohur High School in School (boys) category and Safari Royals in the Team category emerged winners of Cricket Championship. The final matches were played on Monday.
In the school category, the final match was played between Gulmohur High School and Shiksha Niketan School. Shiksha Niketan won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, Gulmohar High School scored 134/5 in 20 overs. Chasing 135 to win, Shiksha Niketan School started well but eventually could only manage to score 119/8 in 20 overs. Gulmohur High School won the final match by 15 runs.
Master Ankit Singh, of Gulmohur High School, was adjudged the Best Player of the Tournament; he scored 153 runs and took 4 wickets in the tournament.

In the team category, the final match was played between the Safari Royals and the Prima Challengers. Prima Challengers won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, Safari Royals scored 135/5 in 20 overs. In reply, Prima Challengers could only manage to score 88, and were all out in 16 overs. Safari Royals won the final by 47 runs.
Bunty Kumar of Safari Royals was adjudged the best player of the tournament for scoring 70 runs and talking eight wickets.

Manas Mishra, Senior General Manager, Product Development, Tata Motors; Gurmeet Singh, President and RK Singh, General Secretary of Tata Motors Workers Union along with VN Singh, Head-Administration and Security; Rajat Kumar Singh, Head-Town Administration; and Ashish Ranjan Sen, Senior Manager (Town Administration), Tata Motors, felicitated the winners and runners-up of the tournament.
