Jamshedpur: Grievances heard, several issues resolved on the spot

Jamshedpur: Following the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, the Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Paswan conducted a Public Grievance Redressal Day at the Collectorate, where he heard grievances and complaints submitted by citizens from various blocks and urban areas of the district. A large number of people participated, placing before the administration a range of issues affecting their daily lives.

The applications received included matters related to encroachment-free housing and government land, concerns of Anganwadi workers, land disputes, family-related issues, requests for free education for families living below the poverty line, and several public issues arising from the Gudabandha block and other areas.

The Deputy Development Commissioner forwarded all applications to the concerned departmental officials and instructed them to take timely and appropriate action with full sensitivity and transparency. He emphasised that the objective of the Public Grievance Redressal Day goes beyond merely hearing complaints; it is meant to provide prompt, accessible, and fair solutions to citizens’ problems.

During the session, several cases were resolved on the spot, offering immediate relief to the applicants. For the remaining matters, the Deputy Development Commissioner directed officials to ensure regular review and close monitoring of the progress, so that pending issues can be addressed at the earliest.
