826 Students from 22 Schools join 5th Econovista
Jamshedpur, Nov 18: The fifth edition of ECONOVISTA 2K25 was organised by JUSCO School South Park on Tuesday at the school premises, witnessing enthusiastic participation from 826 students representing 22 schools across the city.
The event began with an inaugural ceremony featuring the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a vibrant performance by the school band and an energetic display by the school dance troupe.
Vinit Shah, Manufacturing Long Products, Tata Steel Ltd., graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to nurture creativity and pursue continuous learning to excel in life. AF Madon, Administrator, JEM Foundation, attended as Guest of Honour and urged students to take part in such events, calling them valuable platforms to explore and showcase their potential.
During the prize distribution ceremony, Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager, JEM Foundation, joined the school Principal Mili Sinha in awarding trophies across various categories. Rakesh Pandey, Vice Principal, KHS, was also present during the inaugural session.
Principal Mili Sinha welcomed the dignitaries and participating teams, highlighting how festivals like Econovista help students interact, learn, and sharpen their skills. Four Senior Secondary teachers—Gourav Chatterjee, Supriya Paul, Sarojini Banra, and Jyoti Mahato—were acknowledged for their commendable efforts in coordinating the event.
A total of 14 events, including onstage and offstage competitions, were conducted throughout the day. Judges appreciated the creativity, teamwork, and preparation displayed by the participating schools.
In the final results, St. Mary’s English School clinched the Overall Championship Trophy. Hill Top School secured the First Runners-up position, while JUSCO School Kadma finished as Second Runners-up.
