Jamshedpur, July 9: The steel city on Sunday received its first live ice cream parlour, �Icy Bakers�. BJP leader Amarpeet Singh Kale inaugurated the parlour.
Based at Bistupur Inner Circle Road at Aviskar Tower Icy Bakers has cracked the code of making creamy ice-cream using Liquid Nitrogen technology. The parlour has been designed in a way to give a unique ambience. It has a sitting capacity of more than 25 people.
The ice cream, made of a basic custard mixture, is first beaten in a steel vessel. To this the Liquid Nitrogen is added, so that you finally get pure, unadulterated ice cream, sans air crystals.
The concept is not just offering varieties of ice cream with different tastes but the presentation is also outstanding. Cream Stone creations make live waffle cups in front of customers and serves ice cream in it, said Khalsa Bhatia, owner of the parlour.
It makes more than 100 flavours including fresh fruits, dry fruits and chocolate-based flavours, and 95 per cent fat-free for diet-conscious people, he claimed.
