Jamshedpur, Oct 24: In a major breakthrough, Govindpur police have arrested four close aides of notorious criminal Saurabh Sharma alias Rinku Seth from Jamshedpur.
The arrested accused have been identified as Rohit Lohar alias God Baba (22) of Birsanagar, Gaurav Goswami (24) of Govindpur, Sunny Singh alias Shresth Singh (25) of Parsudih, and Himanshu Kumar (23) of Govindpur.

During the operation, police recovered a country-made pistol, two live cartridges, and one used shell from their possession.
The arrests were made following a raid led by City DSP Sunil Chaudhary under the supervision of City SP Kumar Shivashish.
According to police, Rinku Seth, currently lodged in jail, is an active member of the Amarnath gang — one of Jamshedpur’s most dreaded criminal groups.
He has a history of involvement in cases of robbery, extortion, firing, and murder.
He was previously arrested from Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The four accused were reportedly planning a criminal act in a forested area near Naya Road under the Govindpur police station area when the police team raided the spot and apprehended them.
During interrogation, they revealed that the pistol had been supplied to them by Rinku Seth.
All four accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
