Jamshedpur, September 19: As part of the club’s community engagement programme, Jamshedpur FC has invited around 1200 students from RMS High School, Khutadih, to attend their first home match of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season. The Men of Steel will face off against Mumbai City FC at the iconic JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday at 5 PM.
Kundan Chandra, Jamshedpur FC’s Head of Grassroots and Youth Development, met with the students on Thursday to encourage them to support their hometown team. Addressing the students, Chandra emphasized the importance of local backing, stating, “Your support is what matters. The team is doing well, and we need to stand behind them when they play in our home town.”

As part of the event, a painting competition was organized, and 10 students were selected as escort kids for the match. The escort kids will walk with the players to the field of play before the match starts.
Jamshedpur FC returns home after an impressive 2-1 comeback victory against FC Goa and is set to take on Mumbai City FC, aiming for their second win of the ISL season.
