Jamshedpur, Jan 18: Excise department seized three vehicles reportedly used in the transportation of illicit liquor. The vehicles, two scooties and a car, were confiscated at Pardesi Para under Sonari police station area.
Excise officials said they had got a tip-off about several people being engaged in the illegal liquor trade in the area. They said the owners of the vehicles have not come forward to claim them. The vehicles have been handed over to Sonari police. Police will try to trace the vehicle owners and take further legal action in the case, sources said.
