The alarming discovery occurred after the individual underwent a True Net test at Sadar Hospital before being transferred to jail. The Health Department has swiftly initiated treatment for the COVID-positive prisoner in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
Amid concerns, the Health Department is also preparing to conduct an RTPCR test for the affected prisoner. Officials reassure the public, stating that while the discovery of a COVID-positive patient is a cause for concern, there is no need to panic.
