Jamshedpur: Discharge petition dismissed in murder case

Jamshedpur, Dec 16: The court of Additional District Judge I Sanjay Kumar Upadhyaya dismissed the discharge petition of Vishwajeet Pradhan, accused in the murder of trader Dharmendra Singh.

Dharmendra Singh, resident of Sakchi, was killed in Workers Flat, Sidhgora. A case was lodged against Pradhan at the Sakchi police station on 11^th February 2022 on the complaint of Gaurav Kumar, son of Dharmendra, in this connection.

Gaurav had accused Pradhan of killing his father for an extortion amount of Rs 50 lakh. Dharmendra’s body and mobile phone were recovered from Pradhan’s car.
