Jamshedpur, November 8: Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen, Director General, CRPF, made a two-day visit to Rapid Action Force (RAF) 106 and Group Center CRPF Jamshedpur located in the state of Jharkhand which concluded on Wednesday.
The purpose was to visit the Camp and Group Center of CRPF Jamshedpur Camp and take stock of the operational preparations and to inaugurate the newly constructed “Men’s Club” in the Group Center Jamshedpur and review the construction works.
On Tuesday, the Director General held a station dinner at 106 Bn RAF Camp, in which the current Naxal scenario of the state and the operational preparedness, needs and present time of RAF along with senior officers of local police and CRPF were discussed.
The Director General also stressed the importance of continuously updating the existing resources. The Director General discussed in detail the utility and contribution of RAF in maintaining law and order of the state.
The Director General visited the RAF camp on Wednesday took stock of the operational preparedness of the RAF. He also released the book “Behind the badge” written by Dr. Nishit Kumar, Commandant of 106 RAF.
