Jamshedpur: On the occasion of the Public Grievance Redressal Day held at the Collectorate office, Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi personally heard a wide range of problems presented by citizens from urban and rural areas. People came forward with issues related to old age pensions, pending compensation for land acquired by NHAI, appointment of chowkidars, allotment of PDS shops, benefits under the Chief Minister Employment Creation Scheme, land disputes, housing matters, liquor shop licenses, encroachment, parking problems, experience certificates, and payment of dues.
Representatives from Mazdoor Sangh, Dalma Area Gram Suraksha Manch, and other delegations also shared their concerns. The Deputy Commissioner listened patiently and assured the applicants of appropriate and fair action.
Many complaints were addressed and resolved on the spot, while the remaining applications were forwarded to the concerned departments with instructions for time-bound resolution. The Deputy Commissioner emphasised that the district administration is committed to addressing public issues promptly, and platforms like the Grievance Redressal Day help strengthen direct communication and trust between citizens and the administration.
